Description / Scope of Work
The Office of the Assistant Director (Senior), Local Government and Rural Development Department, Tehsil Mardan in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is inviting electronic bids through the EPADS portal for two sanitation and infrastructure development projects under KPPRA Rules 48 Scaled tenders. The first work involves sanitation works including PCC streets, drains, culverts and cleanliness improvements at UC Bagh-e-Irum and Bijlighar with an estimated cost of 20 million rupees and earnest money requirement of 0.40 million rupees. The second project encompasses sanitation work, PCC streets, drains, culverts, DWSS installations and street lights at UC Bagh-e-Irum, Rorya, Muslim Abad, Bijlighar and Baghdada with an estimated cost of 23 million rupees and earnest money of 0.46 million rupees. Both projects are being re-tendered on a Single Stage Single Envelope basis.
Eligible contractors must be registered with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority and possess valid Pakistan Engineering Council codes as per their specification mentions. Bidders quoting up to 10 percent below the engineer estimate shall submit bid security at 2 percent of the estimate. Those quoting 10 to 20 percent below shall submit 2 percent bid security plus an additional 8 percent security of the engineer estimate, while bids exceeding 20 percent below must include detailed rate analysis with appropriate additional security. All bidders must be registered with KPPRA under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Act 2013 with valid PEC and FBR registrations for the current financial year.

Electronic tender forms must be submitted by 03 August 2026 at 11:00 AM, with bids opening scheduled for 12:00 PM the same day. Bid validity period is 84 days from closing date.
