Procurement of Drugs, Medicines, Diet, Medical Supplies and Equipment by Sindh Government Qatar Hospital

Sindh Government Qatar Hospital, Orangi Town, Karachi invites electronic bids through E-PAK Acquisition System for procurement of drugs, medicines, miscellaneous items, uniforms, protective clothing, generic consumables, laboratory items, chemicals, reagents, life-saving medical supplies, medical gases, machinery equipment repairs, hospital vehicle repairs, and furniture fixture repairs for the financial year 2026-27. The total estimated procurement value spans multiple items with quarterly fund allocations across the fiscal year, issued under Rule-46(2) Single Stage Two Envelope Procedure. This comprehensive procurement encompasses fifteen percent local purchase of drugs and medicines, diet of patients, generic consumables and laboratory test kits, life-saving medical supplies, miscellaneous items and auto-destructible syringes, uniforms and protective clothing, and various repair services for machinery, equipment, hospital vehicles and furniture. The hospital is located in Orangi Town, a major area in Karachi, Sindh province.

Eligible bidders must be registered on the EPADS system and possess valid Federal Tax Number (FTN), Sales Tax Registration (SRR), or equivalent authorization from Federal or Sindh Tax authorities. Bidders should be on the Active Taxpayer List and have valid business licenses. Bid security of two percent of the bidding document cost in Pakistani Rupees must be deposited. The bidding document cost is fixed at Rs. 4,000 per tender item with bid security amounts varying between Rs. 5,140 to Rs. 1,685,340 depending on the procurement category.

Bidding documents are available from 03 July 2026 and can be downloaded from the portal at http://portalsindh.eprocure.gov.pk. Interested bidders must register on EPADS at http://sindh.eprocure.gov.pk/suppliers/registration for electronic bid submission. Sealed envelopes containing bids must be submitted along with tender fee and bid security by 18 July 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Office of Medical Superintendent, Sindh Government Qatar Hospital, Orangi Town, Karachi, Second Floor New Building. Tender opening is scheduled for 18 July 2026 at 12:30 PM. Queries may be directed to the Medical Superintendent's office in person. The purchaser reserves the right to reject any or all bids under relevant SPP Rules 2010.
