Description / Scope of Work
Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute and Research Center Lahore invites electronic bids from vendors and firms for prequalification of distributors and pharmacies for the procurement of unquoted items of bulk formulary medicines. This is a prequalification tender with an estimated cost of PKR 139,294,744, covering medicine supply requirements for PKLI operations in Lahore, Punjab province. The procurement shall be conducted in a single stage single envelope format using the Punjab e-Procurement System in accordance with PPRA 2014 rules and regulations.
Eligible bidders must be registered with income tax and sales tax authorities and must be registered with the Punjab e-Procurement System. Bid security of 2 percent of the estimated amount must be submitted electronically in the form of CDR, bank guarantee, demand draft or pay order. The bid validity period is 180 days from the date of opening. Interested bidders are required to meet all compliance requirements as per Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 (amended) and Punjab Procurement Regulations 2024.
Bidding documents are available free of cost from the PKLI website at https://pkli.org.pk/tenders/ and from the Punjab e-Procurement portals www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk and https://ep.punjab.gov.pk. Electronic bids must be submitted on or before 11 September 2026 at 11:00 AM on the Punjab e-Procurement System. Bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM in the presence of bidders' representatives.
