For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT

This is a framework contract for routine pharmaceutical supplies to a government hospital with a PKR 10 million annual budget split across three categories (multinational brands, local manufacturers, surgical items).
Bidders need Category A drug licence and must offer competitive discounts from retail rates. Same-day delivery requirement is operationally demanding. The framework structure and 24/7 supply commitment suggest this is a recurring high-volume contract favourable to established pharmacy distributors with logistics capability. Tight bid security timeline (submission by 10 AM same day as opening) requires advance preparation.
Who can bid: Bidders must hold a valid Category A drug sale license number 09. NTN and sales tax registration certificates are mandatory. Firms must demonstrate financial soundness and prior experience in institutional or chain pharmacy operations. Typically, suppliers to government healthcare procurement must also comply with applicable PPRA rules and be registered with relevant provincial health or pharmaceutical regulatory bodies.
