Purchase of Packing Material for Winter Vegetable Seed Kits by Vegetable Research Institute

The Office of the Principal Scientist at Vegetable Research Institute, Faisalabad, located in Punjab, invites tenders for the purchase of packing material required for preparation of winter vegetable seed kits intended for kitchen gardening. This procurement is being conducted under Tender Notice No. 01/2026-27 on the Punjab e-Procurement System on an item-wise rate basis. The tender covers three categories of plastic bags with varying specifications and quantities: 300 grams of 4-inch bags with 0.002mm thickness, 120 grams of 5-inch bags with 0.002mm thickness, and 1200 grams of 6x9.5-inch bags with 0.014mm thickness. The total estimated cost for all items is Rs. 2,093,400. Interested bidders can participate in the procurement process which is being executed in Faisalabad, Punjab province.

Eligible firms and suppliers must be registered for both income tax and sales tax with established financial and managerial credentials. Manufacturing firms, authorized distributors, dealers, and general order suppliers are invited to participate. Bidders are required to submit a 5 percent refundable bid security through the Punjab e-Procurement System as a mandatory requirement. Firms must also provide an affidavit of Rs. 100 confirming they are not involved in any litigation, have not been blacklisted, and are not disqualified from government procurement. Single Stage One Envelope bidding procedure will be adopted as per PPRA Rules 38, with proposals marked as Technical and Financial Proposal.

Bidding documents are available for download from the Punjab e-Procurement System and the PPRA website. Tenders must be uploaded on the Punjab e-Procurement System by 27.07.2026 at 02:00 P.M., with public opening scheduled for the same day at 02:30 P.M. in the presence of bidders or their representatives at the office of Chairman Purchase Committee in Faisalabad. Quoted rates must be inclusive of all taxes and government duties.
