Description / Scope of Work
The Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi invites quotations for the supply of materials and installation work for 4 ton floor standing air conditioning units at HBL. This Request for Quotation (RFQ-003875) is for comprehensive HVAC installation services covering 11 floor standing air conditioning units, with materials to be delivered to the Stores at IBA Main Campus, University Road, Karachi, Sindh. The scope of work includes supply and installation of copper pipes (3/8" and 3/4" diameter), aeroflex insulation (9.52mm and 19.6mm sizes), control wires, G.I cable trays, flexible PVC drain pipes, and dammer tape, along with professional installation charges. The quoted amounts must be provided item-wise as per the Bill of Quantities, with GST at 18% and SST at 15% applicable on the total amount.
All prospective bidders must be qualified suppliers of HVAC materials with proven installation experience. Interested vendors are required to attend a mandatory site visit scheduled for Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at 12:00 PM at IBA City Campus to assess the installation requirements and project scope. Quotations must be submitted to the Purchase Department, IBA Main Campus, University Road, Karachi by 11:00 AM on July 16, 2026. Payment will be made through crossed cheque following invoice receipt and delivery of materials and completion of installation work. The institution reserves the right to accept or reject any quotation without assigning reasons and may split orders among multiple bidders or award to the lowest responsive bidder.
