Description / Scope of Work
Pakistan Navy Jinnah Naval Base Ormara invites sealed bids from reputed GST-registered transporters and contractors for hiring of multiple transport vehicles on a long-term basis. The procurement includes six vehicle types: single cabin vehicles with 500 liters fuel per month without driver, double cabin vehicles with 500 liters fuel per month with driver, Toyota Land Cruiser Prado models without driver with actual fuel consumption, Toyota Land Cruiser V8 non-armored and armored models with drivers for vehicle handover to Transport Staff, and Toyota Land Cruiser Prado armored models with drivers, all for the period 2022-2026 at HQ CDR Jinnah Naval Base located in Sindh province. The contract is issued under PPRA Rules 2004 with reference number CDR JNB/400/23 dated 13-07-2026.
Eligible bidders must be reputed contractors or transporters with vast experience in providing transport facilities, registered with GST and Professional Tax for hiring of civil transport according to PPRA Rules 2004. Priority is given to those already working with Defence Organization or having Defence experience certificate. Shortlisted bidders are required to obtain security clearance from respective Naval authorities as per procedure in vogue. All Government taxes shall be deducted as per rules. Bid security of 2 percent must be attached with the proposal in the form of Pay Order or Bank Draft.
Tender documents costing Rs. 2,000 (non-refundable) can be obtained from the Store Office at HQ Commander JNB, Ormara Balochistan (phone 021-32322322) or Coastal Liaison Office at PN Dockyard Karachi (phone 021-48508453) during working hours 0900 to 1300 within 15 days of publication. Separate quotations for each serial must be submitted by 1000 hrs on 30 July 2026 at HQ Commander JNB Office. All quotations will be opened in the presence of all bidders on 30 July 2026 at 1100 hrs. Commander JNB reserves the right to accept in full or parts or reject any bid at any time prior to acceptance, assigning due reasons. The tender is also available on the PPRA website.
