400 Ton Billet Shearing Machine for CC Plant by Heavy Mechanical Complex

Heavy Mechanical Complex, Taxila, a Government of Pakistan entity, invites sealed bids for the supply of one 400 Ton Billet Shearing Machine designed for the Continuous Casting Plant No. 1. This tender, referenced as FFW-26-013 dated 6 July 2026, is issued for procurement on a FOR/FOT Taxila or Free Delivery basis to the HMC facility in Taxila, Punjab. The machine specifications include a hydraulic billet shearing system with cutting seed billets at elevated temperatures up to 700 degrees Celsius, incorporating a complete hydraulic power unit with twin pump setup for redundancy, pilot-operated relief valves, directional control valves, high-pressure steel tubing, double-acting hydraulic cylinders capable of delivering 400 tons of shearing force, suction and pressure line filters, and an air or water-cooled heat exchanger. The operating pressure is specified at 250-300 bar with a shearing speed of 200 millimeters per second, complete with an electro-hydraulic control panel, emergency stop mechanisms, overload protection, and installation and commissioning support.

Prospective bidders must possess the technical capability and experience to design and manufacture industrial hydraulic machinery of this specification. Quotations must be submitted with a 2 percent bid security and a tender fee of Rs. 1,500, both of which are mandatory; bids lacking these requirements will be rejected and returned immediately. The offer must be quoted on a FOR Taxila basis with a minimum delivery period and validity of not less than 30 days. Payment will be made only after inspection and acceptance of the delivered equipment at HMC Taxila.
