Description / Scope of Work

The National University of Science and Technology Islamabad (NUST) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of IT equipment for its H-12 Campus in Islamabad under reference P62141. This is a national competitive procurement using the Single Stage-One Envelope method with Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) technique, conducted in accordance with the Public Procurement Rules 2004. The procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 with reserved funds allocated for this project. All bidding will be conducted electronically through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (ePADS v2.0) platform.

Eligible bidders must be registered on ePADS v2.0 to participate. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of a pay order or a bid securing declaration in the format specified in the bidding documents. Bidders are required to meet all eligibility criteria and provide documentation as outlined in the tender document. The bidding process follows transparent and competitive procurement standards set by the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority.

E-bidding documents containing detailed terms, conditions, specifications and requirements are available on ePADS v2.0 at https://epads.gov.pk/opportunities/federal/procurements/62141. Interested bidders must register themselves on ePADS v2.0 before submission. Electronic bids must be submitted through the portal on or before the closing deadline. For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT

Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.

NUST is acquiring IT equipment (non-laser category) valued around Rs 10M for its H-12 campus—likely workstations, networking gear, or peripherals for institutional use.

Single-stage bidding with QCBS means technical merit matters equally alongside price; expect detailed specifications in tender documents. The 2026-07-31 deadline provides reasonable preparation time. This appears one-off procurement for FY 2026-27, not recurring. Bidders should note ePADS-only submission and that quality scoring will be rigorous for an educational institution.

Who can bid: Bidders must register on ePADS v2.0 platform—no specific PEC category mentioned since this is IT equipment, not construction. Typically, Pakistani bidders require active NTN with FBR, SECP registration (if company), and tax compliance. No explicit restrictions stated; vendor registration status on ePADS v2.0 appears to be the primary eligibility gate.
