Description / Scope of Work
District Council Bahawalpur invites electronic bids for the procurement of rent items and supply/purchase items required for the arrangement and celebration of 14 August 2026 (Pakistan's Independence Day) and Eid Milad ul Nabi (Birth of Prophet Muhammad) 2026. This tender is divided into two lots: Lot 1 comprises rent items for the celebration with an estimated cost of PKR 5,056,980 and Lot 2 comprises supply and purchase items with an estimated cost of PKR 6,799,160. The procurement is for District Council Bahawalpur located at Railway Road Near Welcome Chowk in Bahawalpur, Punjab, Pakistan, with a combined estimated tender value of approximately PKR 11.8 million.
Eligible bidders must be firms or companies engaged in trading, registered with relevant registration authorities and tax departments including Income Tax, Sales Tax, and Punjab Sales Tax authorities. All electronic bids must be accompanied by bid security in the specified amounts: PKR 252,849 for Lot 1 and PKR 339,958 for Lot 2. Bid security must be submitted in the form of CDR, Bank Guarantee, Demand Draft, or Pay Order made in the name of District Council Bahawalpur. The bidding process follows single stage single envelope procedures for evaluation.
Bidders must submit complete electronic bids online through the e-Procurement System (ePADS) portal at https://punjab.eprocure.gov.pk by 29th July 2026 at 11:00 AM, with bid opening scheduled for the same date at 11:30 AM. Original bid security instruments must be physically submitted in an envelope marked with the bidding document number and title at the Procurement Office (I&S) Branch and Store Branch, District Council, Railway Road Near Welcome Chowk, Bahawalpur, Punjab, Pakistan, before the submission deadline.
