For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
BECS seeks pre-qualification of eight service categories for FY 2026-27 on framework basis, covering vehicle maintenance, IT/hardware support, machinery repair, furniture supply and office building works.
Registration with PPRA, Income Tax, and FBR ATL status is mandatory. The Rs. 200,000 bid security applies across all lots. This is a recurring framework engagement for an established federal education body, suggesting consistent ongoing work rather than one-off purchases. Multi-lot structure permits vendors to compete selectively in their specialised areas.
Who can bid: Bidders must be registered with PPRA and maintain active status on FBR's Active Taxpayer List (ATL). Income Tax and Sales Tax registration with the respective departments is required. Vendors must be stationed in Islamabad or Rawalpindi. The notice does not specify PEC registration or other sectoral licensing; typically firms in IT, hardware, vehicle maintenance and construction services will need relevant experience credentials.
