WASA Multan seeks five 800 KVA rental generators for five wastewater disposal stations across the city—a medium-scale, time-bound equipment supply contract worth Rs.
8.5 million. The two-month tenure with one-month extension option suggests a temporary operational gap (possibly maintenance or capacity augmentation at existing stations). Notably, bidders must already own or control at least five 300+ KVA units, indicating WASA expects proven fleet capacity rather than sourcing from third parties. Three prior similar contracts (Rs. 3M+ each) in three years is a moderate barrier; many rental operators may lack documented completion certificates. Single-stage e-bidding reduces complexity but eliminates negotiation room.
Who can bid: Bidders must hold PEC Category C-6 or above (electrical/mechanical specialization). Active FBR registration required: valid NTN, PNTH, and ATL status. Minimum three years' diesel generator rental/installation/O&M experience (300+ KVA). Three completed contracts (300+ KVA, Rs. 3M+ each) within last three years with work orders and completion certificates mandatory. Asset ownership: five generators (300+ KVA) minimum. Non-SECP incorporation stated or implied.
