Disposal of Iron and Tower Scrap Materials by Lahore Electric Supply Company

Lahore Electric Supply Company invites electronic bids from eligible firms and bidders for the disposal of unserviceable and scrap materials through the E-PADS (Version 2.0) online procurement platform. This tender concerns the sale of iron and tower scrap with a total quantity of 372,067 kilograms valued at approximately 1,200,000 Pakistani Rupees. The scrap materials are located at three LESCO facilities in Punjab: 132KV Pattoki Grid Station, C-Type Store OKLP, and 132KV Baseerpur Grid Station. The tender is conducted under National Open Competitive Bidding using the Single Stage One Envelope procedure as per Public Procurement Rules 2004 (PPRA-2004). All materials are being disposed on an as-is-where-is basis, and interested bidders may inspect the scrap during working hours at the specified storage locations.

Eligibility criteria require bidders to be registered firms or individuals capable of participating in government procurement processes. Each bid must be accompanied by a mandatory bid security of 1,200,000 Pakistani Rupees in an acceptable form, which must be submitted to the office of the Chief Engineer (MM) at LESCO Headquarters before the bid submission deadline. Reserve prices quoted are exclusive of all applicable taxes, and all bids shall be evaluated on an exclusive-of-tax basis with government taxes charged separately at the time of final payment.

Electronic bids must be submitted through the E-PADS system on or before 30 July 2026 at 11:00 AM. The bid opening will occur on the same date and time.
