Description / Scope of Work
District Council Multan invites online bids through the Punjab e-Procurement System for arrangements related to the celebration of Eid Milad Un Nabi SAW in 2026. The procurement encompasses seven distinct items with a total estimated cost of Rs 2,504,000, including Mehfel-e-Milad arrangements for 300 persons with refreshment and hi-tea, digital illumination of government buildings with green-themed lighting, supply of sweets with packing, sabeel cabins with iron frames, panaflex banners and skins, and sabeel beverages. The celebration will take place in Multan, Punjab, and involves multiple government buildings including District Council, Raza Hall, Qadir Pur Raan, and Makhdoom Rasheed sub-offices.
Eligibility requires that bidders be registered with Income Tax and Sales Tax authorities and hold active Pakistan Revenue Authority (PRA) registration certificates. Prospective bidders must submit earnest money equivalent to 5 percent of the total estimated cost as bid security in the form of a CDR in favour of District Council Multan. The bidding follows a single-stage, one-envelope procedure conducted through the Punjab e-Procurement portal. Successful bidders will be required to deposit an additional performance guarantee of 5 percent of the contract amount before issuance of supply orders for each lot separately.
Bidding documents are available free of cost on the Punjab e-Procurement website at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk/ and the PPRA website at https://ppra.punjab.gov.pk/. Online bid submission closes on 29 July 2026 at 11:00 AM, with opening scheduled for the same day at 11:30 AM at the District Council Multan office in the presence of available contractors or their authorized representatives.
