IESCO-PMU (Islamabad Electric Supply Company) invites national competitive bids under tender reference NCB-235 for shifting of 132 kV D/C Transmission Line (1.8 km) from Sangjani-II (B-17) to NIIA and 132 kV Tarnol to F-11 circuits at Fazia Housing Scheme between location No. 53 to 59, under cost deposit head. This is a Single Stage-Two Envelope national competitive bidding procurement for works category contracts. Bidders are required to meet the eligibility criteria detailed in the bidding document including relevant technical and financial capacity, past construction experience in similar transmission line works, and submission of required registration documents such as NTN and PST registration given the cost deposit and PST inclusive nature of the contract. A bid security is required as specified in the Bid Data Sheet, along with a Bid Securing Declaration and Integrity Pact as part of the bid submission requirements.

Interested and eligible bidders can obtain the complete bidding document from IESCO-PMU Head Office located at Street # 40, Sector G-7/4, Islamabad Capital Territory. For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT

Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.

This is a mid-sized electrical transmission line relocation contract (~Rs. 38.5 million) involving shifting of 132kV double-circuit lines over 1.8 km near Fazia Housing Scheme, Islamabad. Contractors with prior experience in HT line shifting, tower erection, and conductor stringing for 132kV circuits should qualify. Being a cost-deposit head project, funding is tied to the housing scheme developer, so timely payments may depend on third-party deposit status. Single Stage-Two Envelope method suggests technical and financial bids are evaluated separately, favoring technically qualified firms.

Who can bid: Bidders typically require PEC registration in electrical/power transmission category (C-6 or equivalent), valid NTN and sales tax/PST registration, and demonstrated past experience in 132kV transmission line works. Specific eligibility and financial thresholds are detailed in the Eligibility Criteria section of the bidding document, not fully specified in the extracted pages.
