This is a multi-category consumables and store-supplies tender spanning at least 16 budget heads, suggesting SPU is consolidating annual or seasonal procurement into one exercise rather than issuing separate tenders per item, which favors suppliers who can bundle diverse categories (tents, furniture, medicines, stationery, vehicle repair/lubricants) rather than single-product vendors. The disclosed budgets (Rs.10M, Rs.7M, Rs.8M for just three of many heads) indicate a sizeable overall contract value, likely running into tens of millions of rupees, making this attractive for established general-order suppliers but requiring strong working capital and e-procurement portal familiarity since physical bids are barred.
Who can bid: The notice does not specify formal licensing categories, but bidders would typically need active NTN, sales tax registration, and firm registration/letterhead as required for government supply tenders; submission is restricted to e-Procurement Punjab portal registrants, and a 1% CDR bid security is mandatory at bid opening.
