Description / Scope of Work

The Punjab Building Department invites sealed competitive bids for the hire of Application Service Provider (ASP) services and mechanical maintenance of office equipment for the financial year 2025–26. This e-tender, issued under the Punjab Public Procurement Rules 2014, covers ongoing support services required for the department's IT infrastructure and office operations throughout Punjab. The estimated value and detailed scope are specified in the tender documents, which outline the technical requirements, service level agreements, and deliverables expected from the successful bidder over the contract period.

Eligible bidders must possess current registration with the relevant regulatory authorities, including SECP or NTN as applicable for their business category. All participants are required to submit bids electronically through the designated e-Procurement System at https://www.punjab.gov.pk as per PPRA Rules. Bid security must be furnished in the prescribed amount, and mandatory documentary evidence of financial standing, technical capability, and compliance with statutory requirements must accompany each submission. Bids submitted outside the specified format or missing required attachments will be rejected summarily.

Bid documents are available for download from the e-Procurement portal from the date of this notice. Interested parties must register on the system and submit their sealed bids electronically by the closing date and time specified. The bid opening will be held on the scheduled date in the presence of authorized representatives of the department. For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT

Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.

Punjab Building Department requires ongoing ASP and mechanical maintenance services for office IT infrastructure across Punjab for FY 2025–26. This is a recurring annual support contract, not a one-off project. Scale appears medium based on departmental operations across a province. Notably, the tender emphasizes public-sector experience and PPRA compliance; bidders without prior government contracts or weak financials will face disadvantage. The long closing timeline (August 2026) suggests deliberate procurement planning rather than emergency procurement.

Who can bid: Bidders must hold current SECP registration or NTN as applicable to their business structure. Typically, IT service providers require SECP incorporation; sole proprietors need NTN. Registration with relevant regulatory authority (possibly PTA for telecom-linked services) may be required. Financial standing documentation and public-sector experience are mandatory; those lacking prior government contracts are at disadvantage.
