For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
WAPDA seeks qualified contractors for a data centre renovation and rehabilitation project at the H&R Directorate in Lahore. This is a specialised civil works contract supporting critical hydromet infrastructure. The project appears medium-scale given the data centre scope and WAPDA's operational requirements. Bidders should note the tight two-week submission window and mandatory EPADS registration; the procurement uses a single-envelope least-cost approach, suggesting competitive pricing will be decisive. This is a one-off capital project rather than recurring maintenance.
Who can bid: Bidders must be registered on EPADS v2.0. The notice does not explicitly state PEC category or construction license requirements; typically, civil works of this nature require a valid PEC registration (Pakistan Engineering Council) in an appropriate category and valid NTN/SECP registration. Pre-qualification or prior experience may be specified in the full bidding documents.
