Karachi Metropolitan Corporation invites competitive bids through the Sindh E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) under Single Stage One Envelope Procedure for five major fire brigade infrastructure projects in Sindh province. The scope comprises repair, maintenance and renovation of Saddar Fire Station opposite Rainbow Center Saddar (estimated cost 19.997 million), rehabilitation of Lyari Fire Station (19.995 million), repair and maintenance of Central Fire Station Head Quarter (19.999 million), renovation and rehabilitation of the Emergency Response Center at Hawksbay USAR (19.997 million), and construction of a new fire brigade station at Mauripure Road (39.998 million). The total portfolio represents significant investment in fire safety infrastructure across Karachi. Each tender is published separately with individual bid security and document fee requirements.
Bidders must be reputable firms with relevant experience in similar construction and maintenance projects, duly registered with applicable authorities. Bid security is required at five percent of the estimated cost in the form of a pay order or bank guarantee from a scheduled Pakistani bank, valid for at least six months. The bidding document fee of Rs. 5,000 per tender is non-refundable. Only substantially responsive bids meeting all eligibility and evaluation criteria prescribed in the bidding documents will be considered for financial evaluation. Hard copies of bidding proposals in sealed envelopes must be submitted to verify authenticity of online submissions; forged, fabricated or tampered documents result in immediate disqualification and legal proceedings.
Bidding documents are available for download from the EPADS portal at https://sindh.eprocure.gov.pk. Completed bids must be submitted online through EPADS on or before 03:00 p.m. on 06 August 2026, with opening scheduled for the same day at 03:30 p.m. The original bidding document fee as a pay order must reach KMC's office by the submission deadline. If no bids are received or all are non-responsive, bids will be re-opened on 21 August 2026 at 03:30 p.m. Bidders are responsible for ensuring compliance with all prescribed conditions; canvassing in any form results in disqualification.
