For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
This is a one-time public auction of scrap and surplus material held by the Peshawar military cantonment. Scale appears modest—the call deposit requirement of Rs. 1 lakh suggests unit values ranging from tens of thousands to low millions. Key risk: strict enforcement of payment and collection deadlines; unsuccessful bids require six days' prior deposit submission. This is a straightforward disposal exercise rather than a service or works contract, attracting scrap dealers and material recyclers. Tight timeline from notice publication (2 July) to auction (2 August) leaves minimal preparation.
Who can bid: The notice states that any person in default to Cantonment Board is ineligible. Typically, bidders in such auctions must be Pakistani nationals or registered firms (SECP/NTN holders), though the notice does not explicitly demand PEC, EOBI, or other sectoral registration. Valid CNIC and bank account required for security deposit.
