For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
TEVTA Wood Working Centre is prequalifying suppliers for two key categories: wood and steel furniture manufacturing inputs, and consumable materials and tools. The two-lot structure suggests sustained, ongoing procurement for operations rather than a single project. The relatively modest prequalification fee (Rs. 20,000) indicates openness to small and medium-sized local suppliers. Supply categories span raw materials through finished components, implying the centre actively produces and stocks furniture items. Given Kot Addu's location in Punjab, suppliers from central and southern Punjab have logistical advantage. This appears to be an annual prequalification cycle, making it a stable revenue opportunity for qualifying firms.
Who can bid: The notice does not specify formal registration requirements, but applicants must be manufacturers, suppliers or firms capable of supplying the listed goods. Typically for government prequalification in Pakistan, bidders should hold valid NTN registration, relevant trade licenses, and proof of business registration. No specific PEC category applies as this is goods supply, not construction.
