Description / Scope of Work
The Services and General Administration Department (South Punjab), Government of the Punjab, Bahawalpur, invites sealed tender bids for the procurement of general store miscellaneous items under framework contract for the financial year 2026-27. The procurement encompasses four commodity categories: Hardware (A09201), Information Technology Equipment (A09203), Plant and Machinery (A9601), and Furniture and Fixtures (A09701). This framework agreement will supply items for official use throughout the financial year at the Circuit House, Bahawalpur. The tender process is governed by the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 (as amended) and Punjab Procurement Regulations 2024, conducted through the Punjab e-Procurement System as a single-stage two-envelope procedure with separate technical and financial bids.
Eligible bidders must be registered companies, firms, or suppliers of the subject items and must submit with their technical bids the following: bid security equal to three percent of the total estimated cost in the form of bank draft, pay order, or cashier's deposit receipt made payable to the Additional Secretary (Admin), S&GAD South Punjab; bank certificate, statement, or balance sheet demonstrating financial soundness; proof of NTN registration and Income Tax and General Sales Tax payment; professional tax certificate and company profile; and signed acceptance of terms and conditions. All bidders must demonstrate financial viability and tax compliance.
Bidding documents in English containing detailed specifications and terms of agreement are available for download from the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority website (https://ppra.punjab.gov.pk) or the Punjab e-Procurement system (https://eprocure.gov.pk). Tender bids must be submitted through the Punjab e-Procurement System before 11:00 a.m. on 07.08.2026, with technical bids opened online at 11:30 a.m. on the same day. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance guarantee equal to ten percent of the contract amount.
