Description / Scope of Work
Government Mozang DHQ Hospital Lahore invites single-stage two-envelope electronic bids through the e-Punjab Acquisition and Disposal System (ePADS) for supply of medicines, pharmaceutical items and surgical disposable items under a framework contract for local purchase during the fiscal year 2026-2027. The estimated contract value is 10 million rupees, covering multinational and local medicines as well as surgical disposables on a discount-on-MRP basis. The hospital is located in Lahore, Punjab, and intends to utilise government and district health authority funding to meet ongoing patient medication and surgical supply requirements throughout the financial year.
Eligible bidders must be financially sound firms or agencies with established pharmacy business experience, operate a retail shop in Lahore with comprehensive cold-chain and storage facilities, and hold a valid retail drug sale license Category A on Form 9 issued by the relevant drug regulatory authority. Bidders are required to submit a bid security of Rs 200,000 (2 percent of estimated cost) in the form of a CDR, pay order or demand draft from a scheduled Pakistani bank, valid for 180 days. The original bid security instrument must be submitted in hard copy to the office of the Medical Superintendent before bid opening; e-bids lacking this supporting document will be rejected.
Bidding documents are available for free download from the PPRA website (www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk) and the ePADS portal (https://punjab.eprocure.gov.pk/). All bids must be submitted electronically through ePADS as well as in hard copy format; hard copies will only be evaluated if electronic submission is successful and verified. Bid opening is scheduled for 06 August 2026 at 10:30 AM in the presence of bidders who wish to attend.
