For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT

This is a one-off contract for Langar supply at a major religious annual event (Urs) in Islamabad on fixed dates in August 2026. Scale is estimated medium to large based on langar requirements for such events. The bid security is substantial (Rs 1.3 million), and documentation requirements are extensive, demanding proof of prior similar experience, financial stability, and clean compliance history. Tight closing timeline and emphasis on proven track record in religious event catering suggest preference for established, credentialed vendors over newcomers.
Who can bid: Bidders must be registered with Pakistan's Income Tax Department and listed as Active Taxpayers. Caterers must have documented experience in supplying langar at annual Urs or similar large-scale religious/charitable food service contracts. Sound financial position verified by bank statements and bank certification is mandatory. Typically, catering service providers also require business registration (SECP) and valid NTN and sales tax registration.
