This is a large-scale framework contract for dietary/food supply to a police training institution over a full financial year, valued at PKR 7 crore.
The procuring agency explicitly restricts eligibility to tax-registered trading firms, signalling preference for established suppliers with formal compliance history. The 3% bid security requirement (PKR 21 lakh) is substantial and will filter casual bidders. Annual framework contracts typically involve monthly or quarterly call-offs; suppliers must ensure stable inventory and logistics capacity. Tight closing timeline (less than two weeks from publication) suggests the procurement may be urgent or routine.
Who can bid: Eligible bidders must be firms or individuals engaged in trading, registered with Income Tax Department and Sales Tax Department. Blacklisted firms are excluded. The notice does not specify business registration category (SECP/SMEDA); however, typically such dietary supply contracts require valid business registration, current tax filings, and demonstrated trading history.
