Auction of Two Cafeterias by GC University Lahore

GC University Lahore invites electronic bids from experienced and reputed Lahore-based firms, bidders and caterers for the auction of two cafeteria facilities: the Post Graduate Cafeteria with One Service Point (Open Café) with a reserve price of Rs 3,100,000 (excluding taxes) and bid security of Rs 155,000; and the Science Block Cafeteria with a reserve price of Rs 1,000,000 (excluding taxes) and bid security of Rs 50,000. The successful bidders will be awarded contracts for a maximum period of three years, renewable on a yearly basis subject to satisfactory performance. The tender is being conducted by GC University Lahore, a premier educational institution established in 1864 in Punjab.

All bidders must submit bids with E-Bid Security furnished online through Bank of Punjab in accordance with the corrigendum requirements. No conditional bank guarantees, CDRs, SDRs or banker's cheques will be accepted. The bidding procedure follows a Single Stage Two Envelope system. Bidders must ensure they are not in default of any outstanding dues, amounts or taxes with GC University Lahore and must obtain a clearance certificate from the Treasurer or Estate Office if required. One firm or bidder may apply and submit a bid for only one cafeteria specifically. Any bid price below the reserve or base price will be rejected as non-responsive.

Bidding documents can be downloaded from the Punjab E-Procurement System website at http://ep.punjab.gov.pk. All complete e-bids along with e-bid security must be submitted online on the Punjab E-Procurement System portal with the closing date and time of 11 August 2026 until 10:00 am and opening scheduled for the same day at 11:00 am. Bidders are strongly advised to upload their bids well before the submission deadline. All applicable taxes imposed by the Government at provincial and federal levels during the course of the contract shall be borne by the contractor in addition to the bid price.
