Medical Supplies Supply Framework Contract for Social Security Hospital Jauharabad 2026-27

Social Security Hospital (SSH), Jauharabad, a facility operated by The Punjab Employees' Social Security Institution (PESSI), invites bids through the E-Procurement System (E-PS) from manufacturers, importers, authorized distributors, and sole agents of foreign principals for supply of small medical appliances (SMA) items on a framework contract basis (item-wise) during the financial year 2026-27. The contract will be executed on FOR (Free on Rail) basis at the consignee's end in Jauharabad, Punjab. The estimated cost of procurement is Rs. 62,00,000/-. This is an open tender issued through the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) regulations. Firms blacklisted by PPRA or PESSI/SSH Jauharabad are ineligible to participate.

Eligible bidders must be registered with the E-Procurement System (E-PS) under PPRA. Bidders must submit bid security equivalent to 2% of the total quoted bid amount in the form of CDR, bank guarantee, demand draft, or pay order exclusively through Bank of Punjab (BOP) to the Medical Superintendent's office on or before the closing date and time. Original bid security documents must be physically delivered to ensure timely submission; failure to do so renders the bid liable to rejection. The bidding procedure follows Single Stage – Two Envelopes methodology as per Rule 38(2)(a) of Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority Rules, 2014.

Interested firms can download e-bidding documents with detailed specifications from PPRA, PESSI, and E-Procurement System websites. E-bids (readable scanned copies) must be uploaded on the E-Procurement System portal by 10.08.2026 at 09:30 AM, with opening scheduled for the same day at 10:00 AM. Procurement is governed by Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 (as amended) and E-Procurement System regulations. The competent authority reserves the right to cancel the tender at any stage per Rule 35 of PPRA Rules 2014.
