For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
NADRA seeks two 680 kVA diesel generators—substantial infrastructure equipment for a major federal authority. Bidders should note the e-procurement platform requirement and tight timeline (auction 13 August 2026). This appears a one-off capital procurement rather than recurring supply. Suppliers must have EPADS registration and appropriate technical certification for power generation equipment. The single-stage two-envelope method means technical and financial proposals are submitted simultaneously but evaluated separately.
Who can bid: The notice does not explicitly state PEC category or specific vendor eligibility restrictions. Typically, suppliers of industrial generators must be registered with SECP or hold valid NTN, provide manufacturer authorisation or dealership certificates, and meet technical standards for electrical equipment. Local content and tariff requirements may apply under Pakistani procurement rules.
