Description / Scope of Work
Pakistan State Oil Company Limited (PSO) invites quotations for the supply of one brand-new 150 KVA diesel generator set with sound proof canopy to be installed at PSO Serai Naurang Depot in Sindh province. The complete scope includes supply of the generator set, transportation with unloading to site, and commissioning. The equipment must be manufactured within one year before shipment and must achieve full 150 KVA output at 40 degrees Celsius ambient temperature. The generator set shall comprise a turbocharged, water-cooled six-cylinder four-stroke diesel engine with electronic governor, a brushless self-excited alternator with automatic voltage regulator, built-in fuel tank for 8 to 12 hours operation at full load, control panel with automatic main failure mode, anti-vibrating mounting on steel base frame, and flexible coupling. All components including imported coupling require OEM authorization. Technical specifications include 1500 RPM speed, 50 Hz frequency, 400/230 volt three-phase four-wire output, IP 23 enclosure, H insulation class, 0.8 power factor, and comprehensive alarm and shutdown systems covering over/under voltage and frequency, low lube oil pressure, high winding temperature, and engine overspeed protection.
Bidders must quote for supply and complete installation of the 150 KVA DG set as a single line item. Quotations must be submitted on or before 11 August 2026 at 2:15 PM to PSO Dummy Vendor. The notice requires that suppliers provide documentary support from the manufacturer confirming the genset's ability to deliver 150 KVA output at the specified ambient temperature condition. Earnest money as a fixed percentage and purchase order or demand draft number must be specified by bidders. All imported components must carry OEM authorization certificates.
