PSO seeks two master meters for aviation fuel measurement at Multan and Quetta airports—a niche, high-specification procurement with tight delivery window (180 days post-PO). The technical requirements are demanding: ±0.1% accuracy, mechanical counter, comprehensive accessories including calibrated gauges, and JET A-1 compatibility. Vendor must absorb delivery risk and provide 12-month defect warranty. This is a one-off capital equipment purchase, not recurring, requiring demonstrated OEM manufacturing capability and ability to source or provide calibrated third-party certification documents.
Who can bid: The notice does not explicitly state vendor registration requirements. Typically, bidders for PSO procurements must hold valid NTN and SECP registration; suppliers of aviation fuel equipment should ideally have relevant quality certifications or OEM authorization. Local representation and ability to obtain and deliver within 180 days is essential.
