For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
IBA seeks furniture supply and installation for its main library—a medium-scale institutional project likely involving custom pieces or bulk standard items.
The August 12 closing allows ~2 weeks from notice issuance; bidders should note mandatory site visit (August 7) and strict dual-submission requirements (electronic + physical documents before opening). This appears one-time institutional procurement rather than recurring. Competitive tension likely given public institution's visibility.
Who can bid: Active taxpayer status with SPPRA ePADS registration and relevant tax authority enrollment mandatory—NTN essential. PEC registration not explicitly required (furniture works typically exempt from PEC). Bidders must be registered with SPPRA system; foreign entities' eligibility unstated, typically requiring local representation or partnership under SPP Rules 2010.
