For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
NICL seeks contractors for targeted civil works—renovation and internal partitioning of a storage room on the 3rd floor of its Karachi office. The scope appears moderate in scale, focused on finishing work rather than structural change. Single-stage bidding with LCBS evaluation suggests straightforward cost comparison; no complex technical scoring. The tight deadline (approximately two weeks from notice) and reliance on EPADS registration may exclude bidders unfamiliar with federal e-procurement. Standard contract terms apply with performance guarantee and integrity pact. Suitable for local Karachi-based construction or finishing contractors with PEC registration.
Who can bid: Notice does not explicitly state PEC category or contractor grade requirements. Typically for civil renovation works under NICL procurement, bidders require valid PEC registration (Category F or higher), active NTN with FBR, valid SECP incorporation or sole proprietor documentation, and completion of similar works. Some procurement guidelines may require experience in government or corporate sector projects. Registration on EPADS v2.0 is mandatory.
