Description / Scope of Work
The Azad Jammu & Kashmir Electricity Department invites sealed bids for the design, construction and fabrication of a steel structure storage shed at the Office of Chief Engineer Electricity Muzaffarabad, AJK. This is a Single Stage One Envelope bidding procedure governed by AJK PPRA Rules 2017 as amended. The project scope encompasses complete design and construction/fabrication services with a bid security requirement of Rs. 70,000. The work is to be executed in Muzaffarabad, the capital of Azad Jammu & Kashmir province.
Eligible bidders must hold valid Pakistan Engineering Council registration in Category C-6 or above with specialization codes CE-10 and SC-01, along with up-to-date income tax registration with either the Federal Board of Revenue or Azad Jammu & Kashmir Inland Revenue Department. Bidders must demonstrate successful completion of at least one similar contract within the preceding five years that includes design and construction or fabrication work. Bid security must be provided as a CDR, bank draft, pay order or bank guarantee issued by a scheduled Pakistani bank, valid for 28 days beyond the bid validity period of 60 days.
Bidding documents are available for purchase from the Directorate Grids/Transmission Lines at the Chief Engineer Electricity office in Muzaffarabad from 10 September 2026 to 26 September 2026, subject to submission of required documentation and a non-refundable fee of Rs. 3,000 per set. Completed bids must reach the office on or before 10:30 AM on 28 September 2026, with opening scheduled for 11:00 AM the same day.
