The Information Department GB seeks a vendor for routine repair, maintenance and spare parts supply for government vehicles across the financial year 2026-27. The contract value is modest at Rs 200,000, indicating either a rate contract or framework for as-needed purchases rather than a large capital project. The notice mandates substantial prior experience (five years) and a Rs 1 million bank balance, suggesting the department expects an established, reliable supplier. Dual supply to both Gilgit and Islamabad adds logistical complexity. The tight submission deadline (17 August 2026) leaves limited preparation time.
Who can bid: Bidders must be registered companies with five years documented experience in vehicle repair and maintenance. A bank balance of minimum Rs 1 million as of 2025-2026 and a non-blacklisting certificate are required. Own shop/store or auto workshop facilities and qualified technical staff must be in place. Typically, such procurement also requires current NTN and sales tax registration, though not explicitly stated here.
