Pakistan State Oil Company Limited (PSO) invites quotations for coating and painting services on product pipelines at PMY (Zulfiqarabad Oil Terminal), Port Qasim, Karachi, Sindh. The scope comprises surface preparation of pipelines ranging from 6 to 16 inches in diameter plus associated flat bars and angles, application of two coats of Epoxy Mastic coating (150 microns each, 300 microns total dry film thickness), and application of Aliphatic Acrylic Polyurethane top coat (60 microns dry film thickness). Total area to be treated is 600 square meters per item line. All work must comply with ISO 8501-2, SSPC-SP2 and SP3 standards to Swedish Standard IS055900 PSt-2 and PSt-3. The work is to be executed at PSO's Zulfiqarabad Oil terminal at Port Qasim.
All types of taxes are included in quoted rates. Contractors must strictly adhere to PSO's Safety and Security Rules and provide adequate personal protective equipment to all workers without exception. Contractors must supply all labor, tools, materials, and transportation. All on-site utilities including electricity and water remain the contractor's responsibility. The job must be completed within 30 days of Purchase Order issuance; failure to meet this deadline incurs liquidated damages at 0.1 percent of PO value per day up to a maximum of 10 percent. A one-year warranty on all supply items is mandatory, with vendors responsible for replacement of defective items at their own cost.
Quotations must be submitted by 18 August 2026. Payment is made only after job completion and acceptance by the PSO Terminal Engineer, based on actual quantity of work completed and engineer's satisfaction. Contractors remain liable for any damage to materials or items during transportation.
