Construction and Infrastructure Works Tender by District Council Chakwal

District Council Chakwal invites sealed bids for execution of five infrastructure and construction projects located in Chakwal District, Punjab. The tender encompasses earth filling works in Village Arrar Mughlan, street construction with allied works from Main SCTM Road to Mureed Air Base in Moeen Abad, street construction in Village Chak Umra, nullah construction with allied works in Village Dheedwal, and road construction with allied works. The combined estimated cost of projects ranges from Rs. 1.00 million to Rs. 35.212 million, with total bid security requirements varying from Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 17.60 million across the five schemes. All work is located in Chakwal and Talagang tehsils.

Bidding is open to all eligible contractors registered on E-PADS for the financial year 2026-27 under the MRS 2nd Bi-Annual 2026 category. The procurement follows the Single Stage Single Envelope procedure under Punjab Procurement Rules 2014. Bidders must submit bid security from any scheduled bank in Punjab in favour of District Council Chakwal. As per Punjab Local Government (Works) Rules 2017, successful bidders submitting rates equal to or below five percent of estimated cost must deposit additional performance security ranging from five to ten percent within fifteen days of notice issuance.

Bidding documents are available for free download from the E-P System portal at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk/. All bids must be submitted electronically through the E-P System by 10:30 AM PST on 18 August 2026, with bids opening at 11:00 AM PST the same day at District Council Chakwal office. Successful contractors must execute agreements on government-specified stamp paper within seven days of acceptance letter issuance. Non-responsive, corrupted, unsigned, or unstamped bids will be rejected, and submission of forged documents will result in disqualification and blacklisting.
