Description / Scope of Work
Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering & Information Technology (KFUEIT), Rahim Yar Khan is inviting sealed bids through single-stage two-envelope procedure for the procurement of laboratory machinery. The estimated cost of this procurement is PKR 90,000,000 and the project scope covers supply and installation of lab equipment at the university campus in Rahim Yar Khan, Punjab. This re-tender notice follows an earlier tender and is being conducted in accordance with PPRA Rules 2014 (as amended) to ensure transparent and competitive procurement practices.
Eligible bidders must be reputed firms with relevant experience in supplying laboratory equipment and machinery. A refundable bid security of 5% of the estimated cost, amounting to PKR 4,500,000, is required as per Rule 27 of PPRA Rules 2014 (as amended) for the financial year 2026-2027. Bidders are required to register on the Punjab E-Procurement System portal to access bidding documents and submit their offers. All applicable taxes and duties shall be levied as per government rules.
Interested bidders may download bidding documents and detailed technical specifications free of cost from www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk and http://ep.punjab.gov.pk after registration. Sealed bids must be submitted electronically through the Punjab E-Procurement System (http://ep.punjab.gov.pk) on or before 18 August 2026 at 10:00 AM. Tender opening will take place at 10:30 AM on the same day in the presence of bidders or their representatives. The tender validity period extends until 30 June 2027.
