Description / Scope of Work
Municipal Committee Lodhran invites electronic bids for six framework supply and service contracts under its annual procurement for the financial year 2026-27. The contracts cover lighting and sound systems (15 million PKR), generator and tentage provision (15 million PKR), stationery supplies (1 million PKR), electrical materials (10 million PKR), plants and paint services (8 million PKR), and dog control medicine Strychnine (7 million PKR), totalling 56 million PKR. The framework contracts will remain valid until 30 June 2027 and are open to all eligible bidders registered with relevant authorities including PEC, income tax, and sales tax bodies. Eligible bidders must be firms or companies engaged in trading and registered with PEC, income tax, and sales tax departments. All e-bids must be accompanied by a bid security equal to 5 percent of the estimated cost, submitted as a digital bank guarantee through SWIFT MT760 in favour of the Chief Officer, Municipal Committee Lodhran. Successful bidders will be required to furnish a performance security of 5 percent of the contract price. The bidder must generate the PSID from the e-Procurement portal and arrange for the scheduled bank to issue and transmit the digital bank guarantee. Physical bid securities are not accepted.
Bidding documents are available on the Punjab e-Procurement System portal (https://ep.punjab.gov.pk/) and on the PPRA website (http://ppra.punjab.gov.pk/). E-bids must be submitted online by 20 August 2026 at 2:00 PM, with opening scheduled for 2:30 PM the same day. Bidders are responsible for uploading bids well before the deadline. Contractors must quote rates on a percentage basis relative to the estimated cost. All successful bidders are bound to conduct required quality control tests at their own expense and comply with instructions to execute work immediately.
