Description / Scope of Work
Special Branch Rawalpindi invites sealed bids for the purchase of stationary supplies for the financial year 2026-2027 in accordance with Punjab Procurement Rules 2014, Section 25, Chapter V. The procurement is being conducted through a competitive bidding process open to well-reputed and financially sound firms with previous relevant experience. Bids are to be addressed to The SSP, Special Branch Rawalpindi and the tender documents are available on the PPRA website at http://ppra.punjab.gov.pk for download and review by interested vendors.
Eligibility criteria require bidders to be registered with the Income Tax Department and demonstrate financial soundness along with prior experience in supplying stationary items. Interested firms must submit bid security equivalent to 3 percent of the estimated contract cost through the Punjab e-procurement System (eP) via PSID from a scheduled bank. Technical and financial proposals must be submitted separately in sealed envelopes with the financial proposal marked clearly and containing item descriptions with total unit prices inclusive of all applicable taxes and charges.
Bid documents can be obtained from the office of SSP, Special Branch Rawalpindi on any working day during office hours at a cost of Rs. 3000. Sealed bids are to be received through the Punjab e-procurement portal at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk until 17 August 2025 at 10:30 hours, with opening scheduled for the same day at 12:00 hours in the presence of bidders or their representatives. Financial proposals will be opened on 21 August 2026 at 12:00 PM, with the financially qualified lowest bid being accepted. Successful bidders must deposit a performance guarantee of 5 percent of the total contract value.
