W&P Department seeks ongoing fleet maintenance for government vehicles in Gilgit-Ghizar region.
This is recurring preventive/corrective work with predictable annual budget allocation (A13001-Transport head), not a capital project. Scale appears medium—supporting a departmental vehicle fleet across a mountainous region with seasonal access challenges. Key risk: PEC renewal dual-track requirement (2025-26 current, plus 2026-27 fee receipt from W&P itself) suggests administrative coordination burden. Tight 6-month window to closing suggests planning phase already underway.
Who can bid: PEC registration mandatory (relevant category, currently valid for 2025-26, plus receipt of 2026-27 renewal fee from W&P Dept required). Typically: NTN-active entity, no blacklisting by GB-PPRA, tax compliance. Conditional tenders rejected. Only 'approved and enlisted Government contractors' eligible—check W&P Department vendor list.
