Description / Scope of Work
The Communication & Works Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa invites electronic bids through E-PADS (electronic procurement system) for four construction and maintenance works in Battagram district. The primary work involves construction of a boundary wall around Shamshan Ghaat, Gurdawara and Mandir (a place of worship for religious minorities) with an estimated cost of Rs 4.000 million. Three additional projects concern annual operations, maintenance and repair (AOM&R) of judicial buildings including the office and residential buildings of the Senior Civil Judge in Battagram and the office building of the Senior Civil Judge in Tehsil Allai, with estimated costs ranging from Rs 1.475 million to Rs 1.500 million. All works are located in Battagram district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Eligible bidders must hold an active PEC (Pakistan Engineering Council) license of category C-6, maintain active FBR (Federal Board of Revenue) and KPPRA registration for the current financial year, possess valid C&W Department enlistment, and register with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority. Bidders are required to submit 2% bid security in the form of call deposit from scheduled banks. Additional security requirements apply for abnormally low bids: contractors quoting 10% to 20% below engineer estimate must submit 8% additional security, while those quoting more than 20% below must provide additional security equal to the differential amount along with detailed rate analysis.
Bid solicitation documents are available for download from the C&W website (www.cwd.gkp.pk) and KPPRA website, or from the office of the Executive Engineer on demand. Tender fee at 0.05% of estimated cost must be attached with the original CDR. Electronic bids must be submitted through the E-PADS system on or before 01 September 2026 at 12:00 hours, with opening scheduled for the same day at 12:30 hours at the office of the Executive Engineer, C&W Division Battagram. Bids remain valid for ninety days, and successful bidders must execute agreements within twenty-eight days of bid acceptance. All duties, stamp duties and taxes will be recovered as per government directives.
