Cable and MCB Circuit Breakers for EV Charging Station by IBA Karachi

The Institute of Business Administration, Karachi invites quotations for the supply of electrical materials required for an EV charging station installation at its main campus on University Road. The procurement under RFQ-003927 includes five units of 2-pole MCB circuit breakers rated at 40A (Chint brand or equivalent) and 180 coils of copper PVC insulated electric cable rated 300/500V with three cores and 10mm square cross-section (Pakistan Cables brand or equivalent). Delivery is required to the Stores at IBA Main Campus, University Road, Karachi, Sindh. The quotation submission deadline is 7 August 2026 at 5:00 PM, with quotations to be addressed to the Purchase Department.

Bidders must ensure that all materials conform strictly to the specifications detailed in the RFQ. IBA reserves the right to conduct final inspection of all delivered materials and to reject any items that do not meet specifications. General Sales Tax will be applied to applicable items only, and all government taxes, levies and charges will be levied as per applicable SRO rates. A liquidity damage penalty of 2% per month will be imposed for delayed deliveries. Stamp duty of 0.35% on the total purchase order value will be charged accordingly. Payment shall be made by crossed cheque upon receipt of invoice and delivery of goods; advance payment is subject to bank guarantee.

Prospective bidders should submit quotations clearly addressing both line items with unit rates and total cost. The Purchase Department reserves the right to accept quotations for individual items to different lowest responsive bidders or award all items to a single lowest responsive bidder.
