Description / Scope of Work
The National Highway Authority (NHA), Northern Areas Region in Abbottabad, invites electronic bids for the provision of security jammers on the Hazara Motorway CPEC-HT section of E-35, covering both sides of the tunnels. This re-invitation notice seeks qualified constructors to undertake security infrastructure work with an engineer's estimate of Rs. 64,939,200. The project is located on the strategically important E-35 corridor in the Northern Areas region of Pakistan, forming part of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor highway development initiative.
Eligible bidders must be constructors registered with the Income Tax Department and listed on the Federal Board of Revenue's active taxpayers list. Contractors must possess valid registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council in Category C-4 or above with specialization in Electrical Engineering (EE-02). A bid security of Rs. 1,298,784 is required from all participating firms. All bids must be submitted through NHA's electronic bidding system, and prospective bidders are required to obtain EPADS registration at www.eprocure.gov.pk to participate in the procurement.
Bidding documents will be available for free download from the NHA website (www.ebidding.nha.gov.pk) from 18 August 2026 onwards. Electronic bids must be submitted by 25 August 2026 at 1130 hours, with technical bid opening scheduled for 1200 hours on the same day. The procurement follows a Single Stage Two Envelope method.
