PSO is procuring facilitation services for a solar net-metering electrical inspection certificate at Keamari Terminal in Karachi.
Scope comprises documentation review, on-site inspection, testing coordination and final NOC delivery within 15 days. This is a short-cycle, deliverable-focused contract requiring familiarity with Sindh electrical inspectorate procedures and K-Electric interconnection standards. The 15-day completion deadline is tight; bidders must already have established relationships or experience navigating the NOC approval process to avoid liquidated damages penalties. Scale appears small but critical to PSO's solar project timeline.
Who can bid: The notice does not specify mandatory registration categories or certifications. Typically, electrical inspection and solar PV consultation services in Pakistan require staff with relevant professional qualifications, experience in similar projects and preferably familiarity with Electrical Inspectorate Sindh procedures. No restriction on firm size or sector is stated.
