Description / Scope of Work
The Chief Engineer (Power) at WAPDA Tarbela Dam invites electronic bids for the procurement of white metal for the turbine guide bearing, Unit No. 7, at Tarbela Power Station in Punjab. This is a DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) basis procurement funded from the FY 2026-27 budget allocation. The tender is issued under reference P79654 (EPADS v2.0 Bid Reference) and document number OP/ITR-886. The procurement is conducted under the Public Procurement Rules, 2004, using a Single Stage-One Envelope format with Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique. Eligible bidders must submit electronic bids via the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) platform.
All bidders are required to furnish a bid security of PKR 150,000 in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR), bank draft, banker's cheque, or bank guarantee, made payable to the Chief Engineer (Power), WAPDA, Tarbela. The original hard copy of the bid security must reach the office on or before the bid closing time of 1100 hours on 25 August 2026. Bidders must be registered on EPADS v2.0; registration tutorials are available via the platform. Insurance guarantees are not acceptable as bid security. Bidders should ensure they have all necessary eligibility credentials and comply with WAPDA and PPRA procurement guidelines.

Electronic bids must be submitted through EPADS by 1100 hours on 25 August 2026; manual bid submissions will not be entertained. Bid opening will occur the same day using EPADS v2.0 at 1130 hours.
