Description / Scope of Work
Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT), operating under the Ministry of Defence Production, invites sealed bids from eligible manufacturers, authorized dealers, distributors, and suppliers for the procurement of ITD qualified spares for A-Vehicle (AK). The tender is issued under reference Bid No. 5976/IT-7409/2026-27/ASRF/FOR(B)/SCM and follows a Single Stage Two Envelope bidding process on a Free on Rail (FOR) basis. The requirement specifies delivery within six months following contract signature. The tender is available on the PPRA website and represents procurement activity under PPRA and Ministry of Defence Production rules.
Eligible bidders must possess a valid National Tax Number (NTN), Sales Tax Registration where applicable, and fulfill specified eligibility criteria. Required documentation includes photocopy of registration or pre-qualification letters from HIT, DGP, MoDP or government organizations; attested copies of sales tax and NTN certificates; audit reports for the last three financial years; attested bank statements for one year; attested CNIC of the CEO or Director; proof of trade link with OEM for distributors and agents; and a certificate on judicial paper (Rs 100) attested by an Oath Commissioner confirming the firm is neither blacklisted, suspended, nor debarred by any government organization. Additionally, bidders must provide documentary evidence of contracts executed in the last three financial years or works experience with government or semi-government organizations, and enclose a postal order of Rs 2,000 with the technical bid.
