Description / Scope of Work
The District Officer Social Welfare, Special Education and Women Empowerment Department, District Orakzai invites sealed tenders from Sale Tax and Income Tax registered Original Manufacturers for the purchase of Sewing Machines with a total fund allocation of Rs. 5.000 Million to be supplied to District Orakzai. This procurement is aimed at supporting women empowerment and economic development in the district through the distribution of sewing machines to beneficiaries. The tender will be conducted using a single-stage two envelope bidding procedure as per KPPRA Rules 2014, with separate technical and financial proposals required from participating bidders.
Eligible bidders must be Sale Tax registered and Income Tax registered Original Manufacturers of sewing machines. Bidders are required to submit a call deposit of earnest money equivalent to 2% of the quoted rates along with comprehensive bidder profile documentation including registration certificates, relevant manufacturing experience, detailed financial position statements, audited financial reports, proof of paid taxes, and any other supporting documents specified in the bid solicitation documents. Failure to submit the required earnest money and supporting documentation will result in the tender not being processed. All admissible taxes will be deducted from bills as per applicable government rules, and price fluctuations in the market will not affect the successful quoted rates of winning bidders.
Interested Original Manufacturers can obtain tender documents from the office of the District Officer Social Welfare, Special Education and Women Empowerment Department, District Orakzai during regular office hours or download them from the KP-PPRA website. Sealed tenders must be submitted to the specified office address before 11:30 AM on 24 August 2026, with tender opening scheduled for 12:00 PM on the same day at the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, District Orakzai. Supply orders will be issued to successful bidders subject to the release of allocated funds for the procurement.
