Description / Scope of Work
Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute and Research Center (PKLI & RC) Lahore invites e-bids from eligible vendors and firms for prequalification as distributors and pharmacies for procurement of unquoted items of bulk formulary medicines. The estimated contract value is PKR 139,294,744. This is a single-stage, single-envelope procurement conducted under Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 (amended) and Punjab Procurement Regulations 2024. The scope covers supply of various bulk formulary medicines to be distributed through a request for quotation process following successful prequalification. Bidding documents are available free of cost from the PKLI website at https://pkli.org.pk/tenders/ and from the Punjab e-Procurement portal. The tender reference number is PRO-281A-2026, with publication date of 06-08-2026.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the income tax and sales tax departments and must be registered with the Punjab E-Procurement System. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of two percent of the estimated amount in the form of a bank guarantee, demand draft, pay order, or CDR submitted electronically through the Punjab e-Procurement portal. The bid validity period is 180 days from the date of opening as per PPRA clause 28. A pre-bid meeting will be held on 16 August 2026 at 3:00 PM in the conference room of the Supply Chain Department at PKLI & RC Lahore.
E-bids must be submitted online on or before 31 August 2026 at 11:00 AM through the Punjab e-Procurement System (e-P) at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk. Hard copies are not required. Bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM in the presence of bidders' representatives.
