Description / Scope of Work
The SSGC Procurement Department invites sealed bids for the procurement of tools, equipment, welder's materials, and manual metal arc welder power supply under reference P81055 for the fiscal year 2026-27. This is a national-level procurement conducted through the ePak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS v2.0) using single-stage, one-envelope bidding with least cost-based selection methodology in accordance with the Public Procurement Rules 2004. The contract scope encompasses welding equipment and consumables required for operational maintenance and field work across SSGC facilities in Sindh province, with the procurement department headquartered in Karachi's Gulshan-e-Iqbal area. Interested suppliers are invited to register on EPADS v2.0 and access the complete bidding documents, technical specifications, and contract terms through the online portal.
Bidders must meet eligibility criteria as outlined in the bidding documents and must submit all bids with bid security in the form of a pay order, bank guarantee, or bid securing declaration as specified. The procurement department does not explicitly state specific professional licenses or certifications required at the initial bid stage, though suppliers of welding equipment typically require relevant trade registration and compliance with quality standards for industrial goods. All documentation must conform to the formats and requirements prescribed in the standard bidding documents provided on the EPADS platform.
The e-bidding documents containing detailed terms, conditions, specifications, and delivery requirements are available at https://epads.gov.pk/opportunities/federal/procurements/81055. E-bids must be submitted through EPADS v2.0 on or before Monday, August 31, 2026, at 11:30 AM, with bid opening scheduled for the same day at 12:00 PM. Manual submission of bids is not permitted. Interested bidders should contact SSGC Procurement Department at +92-322-821489 or email MMTE@SSGC.COM.PK for clarifications. The procurement follows national bidding procedures and is open to all eligible suppliers meeting the prescribed criteria.
