Description / Scope of Work
Sealed bids are invited by the Director General Health, Government of Azad Jammu & Kashmir for procurement of bulk medicines, vaccines, X-Ray films, surgical disposables, surgical sutures, dental materials, dressing materials, dialysis material, lab chemicals and kits, and personal protective equipment for health institutions and hospitals operated by the AJ&K Health Department during the financial year 2026-27. The procurement scope encompasses a wide range of pharmaceutical and medical supplies required to support healthcare delivery across the region. Bidding will be conducted through a Single Stage Two Envelopes procedure in accordance with AJ&K Public Procurement Rules, with technical and financial proposals submitted separately. Bids will be opened on 14 October 2026 at 11:30 AM at the office of the Secretary Health, Government AJ&K Block No. 10, New Secretariat, Charter, Muzaffarabad in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives.
All manufacturers, authorized importers, and authorized distributors of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies can participate subject to technical criteria mentioned in the bidding document. Bidders must deposit bid security of Rs 5,00,000 (Five hundred thousand rupees only) for each firm quoted in the name of Director General Health AJ&K Muzaffarabad along with the financial bid; cheques are not accepted. Bid validity will be maintained until 30 June 2027. Bidders must furnish an affidavit certifying that they are neither blacklisted nor in conflict with any government authority in the territory of the State of Azad Jammu & Kashmir, federally administered areas, or provinces of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
Complete bidding documents including detailed specifications, quantities, terms and conditions, and evaluation criteria can be obtained from the Director General Health Office, P&GH, District Headquarters Complex Room No. 31, 1st Floor, Block F, Muzaffarabad up to 13 October 2026 during office hours upon submission of a written application on letterhead and payment of Rs 5,000 (Non-refundable) in cash or bank draft as the bidding document fee. All bids must be submitted in tape binding, duly sealed, with proper page numbering and signatures of authorized persons on each page. All taxes and duties levied by the Government of AJ&K will be charged from bills under admissible rules.
